7/1/2011 — Discounts Now Available to Uninsured Patients for Most Laboratory Tests

Previously, most tests collected at a PeaceHealth Laboratories Patient Service Center were already eligible for discounts. Virtually all tests are now eligible for the discount with the exception of some specialty testing and reference testing performed by another laboratory.

6/22/2011 — Summer Lock Box Reminder: Use Ice Packs To Ensure Specimen Integrity and Quality Results

To protect specimens from extreme heat, always place refrigerated collections directly on ice packs. Ambient specimens should be put toward the top of the box. It is necessary to place a divider (or newspaper) between ice packs and the ambient specimens.
