Specimen Collection Details
Collection:
One 5 mL red top tube. Do not use a serum separator tube (SST).
Handling:
Allow to clot, centrifuge and separate serum from cells immediately and pour into a plastic vial. Freeze. Transort according to Biological Substance, Category B, Shipping Guidelines.
Stability:
7 days refrigerated or 7 days frozen. Unstable ambient.
