Handling: Centrifuge and separate serum from cells immediately. Pour into a plastic vial. Refrigerate.
Stability: 8 hours ambient, 48 hours refrigerated, or 1 month frozen.
Standard Volume: 1 mL serum
Minimum Volume: 0.5 mL serum

Comments: IgD is one of the five classes of immunoglobulin. IgD is mainly found on the surface of B-cells and may help regulate B-cell function. The function of circulating IgD is unknown, but it likely serves as an early B-cell receptor.
