Handling:
Centrifuge and immediately separate serum inot a plastic vial. Refrigerate.
Stability:
48 hours ambient, 14 days refrigerated, or 1 year frozen. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Note: Myocardial antibodies are present following myocardial infarction (28-31%), acute rheumatic fever (25-43%) and in post-pericardiotomy syndrome. All positives are titered to endpoint. If Myocardial Ab is 1:20, a titer will be added.
