Collection: Peripheral blood or bone marrow in a 10 mL green top tube (sodium heparin).
Handling: Do not centrifuge. Keep as whole blood. Provide a current CBC and diagnosis.
Stability: 48 hours ambient or 48 hours refrigerated. Unstable frozen. Specimen received in lab more than 48 hours old will be tested, but results are not guaranteed.
Standard Volume: 10 mL blood or bone marrow
Minimum Volume: 3 mL blood or bone marrow
