Comments: List of allergens available upon request. Results with allergens scoring in Class 01 should be considered weakly positive or equivocal. Class 02 and higher should be considered positive. Although increasing class ranges (01-06) are reflective of increasing concentrations of allergen specific IgE, this may not correlate with the degree of clinical response when challenged with the specific allergen. The correlation of allergy laboratory results with clinical history is essential. A negative test may not rule out clinical allergy.
Rejection Criteria: Hemolyzed, icteric, or lipemic specimens.
This test may require insurance company prior authorization before ordering.
Please check the

Failure to gain preauthorization may result in denial of coverage.
