Comments:
Isolated Hgb F is not recommended for evaluating patients for hemoglobinopathy. Hemoglobinopathy Evaluation Panel (10570) is recommended for those patients. Isolated evaluation of Hgb F is usually limited to patients with juvenile CML and other related diseases.
