Oregon Medical Laboratories Opens Local Laboratory

West Linn, Ore. – Underscoring its commitment to the Portland medical community, Oregon Medical Laboratories (OML), the state’s largest clinical and drug testing laboratory, announces the grand opening of its new laboratory and patient service center in West Linn, Ore., located at 2008 Willamette Falls Drive. The state-of-the art laboratory provides Portland area physician offices with quick turnaround on crucial tests, while phlebotomists in the patient service center perform both adult and pediatric draws. The West Linn facility is the company’s first laboratory in the Portland area although OML has been actively serving area physician offices since 2002 through its Portland-based patient service centers, courier system, and client relations specialists.

In addition to serving the medical community, OML provides drug-testing services for large employers and occupational medicine programs in the Greater Portland market.

The West Linn lab is the second major operational development for OML in this year. In January, the company relocated its headquarters to a 70,000 square foot, state-of-the-art laboratory at 123 International Way in Springfield, Ore.

Founded in 1986, OML is currently the largest reference laboratory in Oregon, providing nearly half of the state’s reference laboratory services. OML has almost 450 employees, and was once again recognized by Oregon Business magazine as one of the best places to work in Oregon for the third year in a row.
