Friday, September
18, Session #10 1:00 p.m.

Practitioners
treating chronic pain frequently order urine tests looking for evidence
of
analgesic drugs and other controlled substances to help assure compliance and
to help
detect
undeclared use and diversion. This presentation will address the emerging
clinical
laboratory
testing used in pain management, the analytical methods and the interpretation
of
the laboratory test results. Clinical cases will be reviewed and time will be
available for questions and comments.
