Media Guidelines
PeaceHealth Laboratories recognizes its responsibility to protect the private health care information of its patients while providing the media with timely, accurate and ethical information. As it pertains to providing health care information to the media, PeaceHealth Laboratories subscribes to the Code of Cooperation published the Oregon Association of Hospitals and Health Systems.
In summary:
- News media will clearly identify themselves as members of the media and seek information through the designated media contact provided on the right.
- In compliance with applicable state and federal laws, no information will be given that violates the confidentiality, privacy or legal rights of patients.
- All visits to PeaceHealth Laboratories facilities must be approved in advance by management or media contact.
- No photographs, film or video or interview of patients will be published or aired without the written permission of the patient or patient’s guardian.
Logos and Graphic Standards
Guidelines have been established to ensure the correct and consistent use of our logo in all communication efforts. Consistent imagery in communications creates an instantly recognized brand. If you have permission to use our logo, please review the guidelines. All logo use must be reviewed and approved by PeaceHealth Laboratories’ Marketing department prior to publication.
