For Patients

Patient Information

As one of the Pacific Northwest's leading laboratory systems with locations in Oregon, Washington and Alaska, our caregivers provide high-quality, accurate testing services to thousands of physicians and their patients (like you!) each year. Simply stated, we provide laboratory testing ordered by your physician. Think of PeaceHealth Laboratories as a "test specialist," separate from your doctor's office. After your office visit, your doctor may decide that laboratory tests are necessary to provide additional information about your condition.

That's where we come in.

When you bring the laboratory requisition to a PeaceHealth Laboratories Patient Service Center, our caregivers ensure your tests are collected correctly. Our couriers then criss-cross the community picking up the specimens and delivering them safely to the laboratory to ensure your doctor quickly receives important information about your health.

Because we are a separate part of PeaceHealth, your test billing is handled separately from your other medical bills. For answers to your questions please review our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section.

During the course of providing testing services, delivering results and obtaining payment, PeaceHealth Laboratories will use or disclose your Protected Health Information (PHI) for a number of operational or business purposes that are found in PeaceHealth Laboratories' HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. PeaceHealth Laboratories is committed to protect your health and personal information as well as the laboratory test results we gather while serving you.

When it comes to insurance, PeaceHealth Laboratories is under contract and on the participating provider list of all major insurance carriers. We bill most insurances on your behalf, including both primary and secondary plans. We can answer your insurance questions by calling Patient Financial Services at 800-826-3616.
