Clinical laboratories play a major role in disease diagnosis and management as well as technological and scientific advances that increase medicine’s complexity. Additionally, the laboratory is increasingly asked to provide direction on appropriate test ordering and accurate results interpretation.
At PeaceHealth Laboratories, such technical and clinical support is integral to our health care mission and we focus comprehensive resources on these critical services. We provide 24-hour, 7-day a week client support to respond to routine inquiries regarding test availability, specimen collection and handling issues.
Our Client Services representatives respond to more than 700 calls each day. They are trained to answer common questions and refer advanced technical questions to the appropriate personnel: PeaceHealth Laboratories’ pathologists, clinical scientists and technical specialists.
