OML Expands Services to Tualatin

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

November 14, 2007

Tualatin, Ore.– Oregon Medical Laboratories (OML), the state’s largest medical laboratory, announces the opening of its new patient service center located at 6464 S. Borland Road, Ste. C3, in Tualatin, Ore. The new center is sited across from Legacy Meridian Park Hospital to allow local residents the convenience of having their blood drawn near their homes, work or physician”s office.

OML is unique among area laboratories in that it is the only lab to accept all major insurances, including Providence Health Plan, United Healthcare, Aetna, CIGNA ODS and more. OML’s highly skilled phlebotomists are experts in providing gentle care, particularly for children.

Founded in 1986, OML has been actively serving the Portland community via its Eugene/Springfield laboratory since 2002. Its success translated into a new laboratory and patient service center in West Linn that opened just last year, making the Tualatin center its second location in the area.

The new center’s proximity to OML’s West Linn lab allows same day results on most routine tests for patients who are drawn before noon.

The center is open 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Phone is 503.692.4649.
