Viable organism in pure culture on tubed media. Note: If organism is a gram positive bacillus, order Aerobic Organism Id with Susceptibilities (80274) or Aerobic Bacterial Id (85856). |
Handling: |
Use CO2 generator or candle jar for organisms requiring CO2. Use anaerobic generator for anaerobic organisms. Keep ambient. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Avoid extreme heat or cold. Package organism according to Infectious Substance Shipping Guidelines. |
